CSV files are UTF-8 with a BOM so that they open correctly in Excel. See the unit column for units (yen is JPY per share, percent is %). Only verified values are included. Text fields such as company names and quotes are in Japanese.
Key columns
source_doc_id: EDINET document ID of the source filing. Open the original PDF athttps://disclosure2dl.edinet-fsa.go.jp/searchdocument/pdf/{source_doc_id}.pdf.source_quote: the quoted text from the filing that supports the value.side: who engaged the valuer (acquirer,targetorspecial_committee).method: valuation method (market_price,comparable,dcforother).

The data is extracted automatically from filings and its accuracy is not guaranteed. Always check the original filings before making investment decisions or valuations. Terms for quotation and redistribution are in preparation.
